Austin, TX (ZPRYME NEWS) – 04/01/08 - The Asian Development Bank’s April 2004 issue stated that economic growth in the Republic of Korea is expected to recover to 4.8% in 2004 and 5.2% in 2005, with strong growth in exports and accommodative financial and fiscal strategies to lift up domestic requirements. It further forecast that a recovery in the world economy would maintain growth in exports, which can possibly rouse investment. Due to a decline in private consumption as consumer credit dried up, and deals in machinery and equipment lessened, economic growth slowed to 3.1% in 2003 after a 7% increase in 2002.
