Reuters reported in “GE gets deal to supply Iraq gas-powered generators” that the government of Iraq had entered into a contract with the General Electric Co. to purchase eight natural gas powered generators The agreement was reached after it was approved by the Iraqi government. The contract price was valued at 275 million dollars or 179 million euros.
